A charming city famous for the creations of the architect Palladio. Spectacular buildings at every turn in the city centre. Highlights include, the stunning Piazza dei Signori, with its green copper roof and the Teatro Olimpico, which is Europe’s oldest surviving indoor theatre.

On the outskirts of town is where you will find the palaces which were built for Vicenza’s affluent citizens. The most famous of these is possibly La Rotonda, reachable on foot from the town.
