A large national park covering more than 230 square miles,  from Comacchio in the south up to the Veneto region. The Valli di Comacchio is a winter haven for thousands of breeding and migrating birds.

Birdwatchers gather here each spring for an International bird watching festival. Species to note are varieties of Heron, Stork, Harriers, Bitterns, Osprey and even Flamingos. You can explore these wetlands via car or on the water from several departure points.
